ABOUT

I believe that we are only stewards of the land and what we do today will have an impact on tomorrow.  So let us make the changes today that will change the future.

Founder and Principal

I was born and grew up in South Africa. Did a BSc. Agric. (Hons) in Microbiology and Plant Pathology at the University of Pretoria. I have 20 years experience in the various disciplines in agriculture, from extension officer for the South African Mango industry through to procurement (sourcing of produce) and marketing manager, as a researcher, and currently consulting in sustainable agriculture and optimization of processing and production lines for fruits and vegetables.

I specialize in from creative and innovative thinking (currently working on the filing of two patents), environmental and sustainable agriculture to post-harvest handling and processing of fruit and vegetables in tropical fruit and vegetable crops.

Previous clients: Several retail groups in Europe, South Africa and Asia and Mozambique and South African Government.

Worked with clients in: Brazil, Egypt, Mozambique, Ghana, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Dubai and now Australia and Hong Kong.

Currently consulting for various Agricultural processing and production companies, but my passion is to build a mentorship program for producers and processors alike, to embrace future changes and environmental challenges whilst remaining economically viable and sustainable.

We desperately need to reduce food waste and losses around the world, http://www.fao.org/save-food/resources/keyfindings/en/, but we also have a responsibility, to reduce the impact of food production on the environment through optimization and recycling.
